The non-return air flap prevents the heat from escaping when the hood is not in use. It also comes with a timer and a 12-hour clock for the timely and accurate master chef.

- Communication is established between the hood and cooktop based on RF technology (ZigBee). For Con@ctivity 2.0, an RF stick is required for the cooktop; this is supplied with the ventilation hood.

Automatic function Con@ctivity 3.0 (WiFi)
- Communication is established between the hood and hob based on WiFi. When using Con@ctivity 3.0, MobileControl enables the cooker hood to also be controlled via the Miele@mobile app.

Delayed Shutdown
- After cooking, the blower can be set to switch off automatically after 5 or 15 minutes.
Safety Switch-Off
- Sensible even in case of operating errors. The ventilation hood will switch off automatically after 10 hours.
Non-Return Flap
- Ensures that no hot or cold outside air can enter your kitchen via a vented hood. The component is installed directly on the vent connection above the fan and closes the opening between the kitchen and the pipe system leading outside.
