Shabbos Timer SwitchThe Shabbos Keeper is a device that automatically sets the refrigerator to Shabbos (Sabbath) Mode each week and sets back to the weekday mode after Shabbos (and Yom Tov). This device is manufactured by GE Appliances' FirstBuild and is sold through ZMAN technologies. It is compatible with many GEA Bottom Freezer (French Door) refrigerators.When Shabbos is activated, the light bulbs automatically stay on, the auto defrost system is fully automated and user actions are not read. In addition, the following features are deactivated:• Door switches• Sensors• Touch screens• Icemakers• Water dispensers• Internal computers

Automatic Shabbos ActivationOnce set, it is programmed to automatically enter Enhanced Shabbos Mode 90 minutes before sunset Friday evening (to account for early Shabbos) and then revert back to weekday mode 90 minutes after sunset on Saturday night.
No installation requiredSimply plug into the data port on top of the refrigerator.
Door switches and sensors are deactivated.Enhanced Shabbos mode eliminates all electrical flow through door switches and sensors, completely disabling them during Shabbos and preventing any detection by internal computers.
Light bulbs automatically stay on all ShabbosInterior lights stay on at reduced brightness during Shabbos Keeper Sabbath Mode.
Auto defrost system is fully automatedIn Enhanced Sabbath mode, the defrost is set to automatically activate every few hours, with no user input.
Ice makers are deactivatedOn some refrigerators, ice may not be removed from the bucket during Shabbos unless the ice-maker is manually deactivated before Shabbos. See compatibility list for more details.
Water dispensers are deactivatedInternal computers are deactivated to ensure user actions are not read.
