Assisted Cooking Presets
- Let you quickly set your cooktop to the optimal temperatures you need—from melting delicate chocolate (42°C/108°F), to keeping rich sauces warm (74°C/165°F), or even simmering soups, stews, and rice (94°C/201°F).
Sliding Touch-Activated Controls
- Allow you to easily control your downdraft cooktop. An easy-to-use vertical slider allows you to seamlessly adjust temperature settings and offers a built-in timer function.
External or Recirculating Venting Options

Pan Size Detection
- Recognizes the size and placement of cookware to generate heat directly within the pan. Display will alert you if you turn the cooktop on without a pan on the selected zone or if your pan is not compatible with induction cooking.
Works with Most High-Quality Cookware
- Such as multi-ply stainless steel, enameled steel or cast iron. Aluminum and copper cookware will not work unless it has a base made of iron or steel.
- Look for pans marked "Works with Induction" or test to see if a magnet will stick to the bottom.
Power-On Indicator Light
- Lets you know at a glance when a zone is on.
Hot-Surface Indicator Light
- Provides a clear signal that a cooking surface is on or still hot to the touch.
Control Lock for Cleaning
- Disables cooking mode for 10 seconds to allow for cleaning when the cooktop is not in use.
