About the Project

Nestled in North Bergen, NJ, this homeowner-designed kitchen is an ode to the Mid-Century Modern aesthetic. A blend of walnut cabinets and black accents dazzles the eye, as the black cabinetry tastefully houses the fridge and sits beneath the waterfall island. Adding to the elegance, custom gold accent lighting, fixtures, and handles are scattered throughout the space, creating a harmonious glow. An artisanal coffee bar area, enhanced with a favorite accent of the homeowner - the custom amber-style glass - adds a personal touch. The centerpiece of the kitchen, a Dacor range and hood, was also custom designed and fabricated by the homeowner, serving as a testament to their passion for fine detail. The meticulous care extends even to the floor, laid with precision by the homeowner. Together with the high-quality marble provided by Art of Tile Kitchen and Bath, this kitchen stands as a labor of love and a haven for lovers of mid-century modern design.
