As water flows through Miele coffee makers and steam ovens calcium deposits are naturally left behind. Therefore, depending on the hardness of your local water Miele recommends descaling your machines after every 500 to 1000 uses. The Miele systems will alert you when your machine needs descaling. Miele even offers a count-down counter to allow you time to get your supplies ready. This descaling package includes six tablets.
