Re-usable vacuum containers

Foodstuffs are protected particularly well in the vacuuming container in preparation for all kinds of uses. The commercially available container is connected in the vacuuming drawer with the aid of an adapter.

Food storage

Vacuum-sealed foodstuffs stay fresh for longer. They are stored in the PerfectFresh zone in the fridge on a temporary basis. However, once vacuum sealed, fish and vegetables stay fresh for longer, without compromising on taste or quality.

Dividing food into portions

With small portions of herbs, cheese or cold cuts, you always have fresh produce to hand. Soft cheese remains fresh for considerably longer when it has been vacuum-sealed and stored in the refrigerator. A portion of lasagne can be easily warmed up.

Marinating

Do you like your meat and fish to have a really intense flavour Marinate your food in your usual manner and then vacuum seal it with the Miele vacuuming drawer.

Vacuuming in containers

Vacuuming containers are ideal for vegetables and herbs that are sensitive to bruising as well as for daily foodstuffs such as sliced meat.

Sealing of glass containers

You know the situation: storing left-over pesto or baby food is not always easy. Filled into small jars, they can be sealed for storing.

Vacuum sealing of liquids

The solution for storing liquids: Leftovers from the starter, such as soup, are easy to seal in a vacuum bag. As an additional benefit, it can be stored in the refrigerator without taking up too much space.

Easy-care interior

The vacuuming chamber is equipped with seamless stainless steel sheets. This means that it is particularly easy to clean after use.

CleanSteel

All Miele appliances in stainless steel have a premium CleanSteel finish. This finish allows the surface to be kept clean very easily and without special detergents. Fingerprints are nearly invisible on CleanSteel

Generous usable area

The Miele vacuum sealing drawer is suitable for different sizes of bags and containers. The interior space is big enough for all sorts of food from small portions up to a maximum size of 250 x 350 mm and a height of up to 80 mm.

Three vacuum-sealing settings

The vacuum-sealing drawer has 3 different settings. For optimum food protection, meat should be vacuum-sealed using the highest setting. We recommend setting 2 for food which contains a lot of liquid. Setting 1 is perfect for strawberries.

Variable sealing times

The correct heat sealing is essential for the perfect storage of food or sous-vide cooking: Thinner bags as well as original packaging, such as crisp bags, are gently and securely sealed on setting 1.
