The AGA R7 Classic Cast Iron Collection is fully electric, controllable, easy to use and offers a host of refined features for flexible cooking. The ovens are designed to be left on so that they are always available for use and provide gentle warmth to keep your kitchen cozy.
The cast-iron ovens also feature an Altrashell™ coating, which seals the cast-iron and makes them easier to clean. For further ease, the inner door liners can be removed and placed in a dishwasher.
AGA R7 160 WITH DUAL FUEL MODULE - This configuration provides an additional conventional oven with an electric broiler, convection oven with fan, and 4-top gas burners.

Since the 1920s, the AGA has been a treasured possession in kitchens across Europe and throughout the world. Each Cooker is unique in its own fashion, cast in a historic foundry in Coalbrookdale, Shropshire that has been smelting iron since 1709. Today each AGA product is still handmade by gifted artisans, with every step of the building and finishing process continuously inspected for quality and excellence. Upon completion, your AGA will be shipped from the United Kingdom to North America, professionally delivered to your home, and carefully assembled by a skilled AGA technician right in your own kitchen.
Key Features
2 Hotplates
- The two hotplates are at different heats; the boiling plate is the hottest of the two and the simmering plate is a lower heat. Each plate is individually controlled.
4-Top Gas Burners
- Provides instant power and a rapid response for any type of cooking.
Boiling Plate
- Delivers a really fast punch of heat for quickly boiling water, maintaining a rolling boil, and for fast stir-fries in a wok.
- Ridged griddle pans are also used here for authentic grilled steaks, chops, and cutlets.
Simmering Plate
- Designed for slowly bringing foods to a gentle simmer.
- Use it for heating milk, scrambled eggs, and for making sauces - even tricky emulsion sauces, such as Hollandaise and Bearnaise, become easy.
Roasting Oven
- The hottest oven for high-temperature cooking; pastries bread, roasting of meat, vegetables, and poultry, grilling at the top of the oven, and frying on the base of the oven.
Baking Oven
- A moderate oven for cooking cakes and biscuits, baking fish, lasagne, or shepherds pie, plus roasting meat and poultry at medium heat.
- Cooking sweet and savory dishes together is no problem as the flavors do not mix.
Simmering Oven
- Long, slow cooking in the simmering oven develops flavors and makes the toughest meat tender.
- Its large capacity means several pans can be stacked here; soup, casserole, steamed rice, steamed carrots, and poached fruits all cooking simultaneously, without any danger of burning.
Slow Cooking Oven
- Ideal for a broad range of long slow cooking applications, such as leg of lamb, pulled pork, belly pork, and celebration cake.
Warming Oven
- Used for warming plates and serving dishes. Can also be used for resting joints before carving.
Insulated Covers
- The distinctive hallmark of the AGA, the highly polished stainless steel insulated covers are brought down over the hotplates to contain the heat when on and protect the hotplate when off.
- Individually assembled by hand.
Enamel Top
- The enamel top surrounds the hotplates. It will become warm when your hotplates are in use. Although it is not a cooking surface it may be used to keep foods warm, melt butter, and dehydrate leafy herbs.
New Door Liners
- New cooler-touch stainless steel door liners on the roasting, baking, and simmering ovens. For ease of cleaning, these new patented door liners can be removed and placed right in the dishwasher.
Control Panel
- The AGA R7 ranges feature a discreetly housed control panel for all oven operations.
Easy To Clean
- A special Altrashell™ coating seals the surface of the cast-iron ovens making them easier to clean.
