Sensor Induction Technology
- Generates heat directly within cookware, reaching high temperatures quickly and cooling down rapidly for precise control that enables a full range of cooking techniques.
Auto Presets
- For Melt, Simmer, Keep Warm, and Boil.
- Automatically set the right heat for different techniques and stages of cooking, taking the guesswork out of choosing settings.
Power Boost Function
- Allows you to exceed the maximum heat-level setting for 5 minutes, to help you get to a rapid boil.
Touch-Activated Controls
- For assisted cooking modes, auto presets and numerical power settings are simple to use. The seamless design is also easy to clean.
Pan Size Detection
- Recognizes the size and placement of cookware to generate heat directly within the pan.
- An indicator light and sound will alert you if you turn the cooktop on without a pan on the selected element or if your pan is not compatible with induction cooking.
Control Lock
- Disables cooking mode for easy cleaning when not in use.
Frameless Design
- Allows flush installation for a seamless look or standard installation to fit an existing cooktop cutout.
Requires Induction-Compatible Cookware
- Such as multi-ply stainless steel, enameled steel, or cast iron. Aluminum and copper cookware will not work unless it has a base made of iron or steel. Look for pans marked "Works with Induction" or test to see if a magnet will stick to the bottom.
